Each MODRATEC Mechanically Interlocked Lever Frame is customised for your specific layout requirements.

Interlocking design has always seemed something of a mysterious black art. To overcome this, MODRATEC has created a design tool called SigScribe4.

You can download SigScribe4 free of charge. You use it to draw your track plan, place signals, and define routes. SigScribe4 then creates the mechanical interlocking design and simulates it so that you can test your design.

MODRATEC uses your SigScribe4 design to generate your customised Kit and Construction Manual.

With standard Kits, you are provided with drilling guides so that you can place holes accurately. Many holes also need to be tapped with an M3 thread.

Alternatively, MODRATEC can provide Premium Kits with all holes pre-drilled and tapped as required.

MODRATEC Lever Frames have been developed to meet the following requirements:

The MODRATEC Lever Frame is not intended to be a scale model, but a practical control device which nonetheless evokes genuine railway atmosphere.

The design aims have been achieved firstly, by adopting modular principles, and secondly, by minimising the production tasks required for manufacturing kit components. MODRATEC performs all of the machining required, taking care of critical accuracy. What is left for the modeller can then be achieved with basic hand tools aided by the provision of simple and inexpensive but precise jigs.

The main construction is of solid brass with the lever spindle being of stainless steel.

Both non-interlocked and interlocked frame are avilable in sizes from 6 to 60 levers (in multiples of 6).

Optional auxiliary switches permit electircal operation and/or panel indication.
